Friendship and communication are things which make us happier. People who have nobody to talk with usually become depressed. That’s why important character traits should be developed in all of us.
First of all, one of the most important things we should do to make and keep friends is to communicate with them regularly. A friend is someone who is interested in your life. He or she hopes that you want to know something about his or her news, too. If you do not try to call him or her or to arrange a meeting, your friend may start thinking that you are not interested in communication and friendship.
Secondly, what we must develop on ourselves is the ability to tell the truth all the time. Telling lies should not be included in friendship because a friend may stop believing you.
Finally, one of the most important things we must do is never tell up your friend’s secrets. Speaking about other problems or bad situations is the character trait od the person who does not understand what friendship is.
To sum up, I want to say that all of us are in need of people who can understand and support us. To keep these people next to us and never let them feel deceived, we should develop important character traits.
